About the Program

As a Pre-Law student, you will attend exciting and valuable activities each semester that include discussions and seminars with law professionals, career and internship workshops, and specialized training to hone professional skills.

You can be part of the Pre-Law Program while fulfilling any major degree program, but students interested in law careers are encouraged to take coursework that requires strong research, writing, and problem-solving skills. These courses will successfully position you for the LSAT and the law school experience.

Pre-Law Society

ůůֱ²¥ State ůůֱ²¥â€™s Pre-Law Society plays an important role in the community by offering events that connect alumni with current students about how to be successful in law school as well as a Court Case Spotlight series that allows students to hear from faculty about current Supreme Court cases and trials in the headlines. For Spring 2023, the Pre-Law Society will host a number of activities for members to engage in such as a mock trial competition, visits to NJ law schools, and LSAT prep workshops.
